Evergreen inclusive Academy, Anwumasu is an Inclusive school in Kumasi and the Ashanti Region that educate Children With Disability and those without disability side by side in the same education space.
We are boys and girls' Inclusive school with qualified, hardworking professionals and the resources to provide high quality education for children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) such as Autism , Aspergers Syndrome, Down syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and various developmental conditions and also caters for Neurotypical learners.
We know and appreciate that every child is unique and special in their own way, so we provide Individualized Educational Program (IEP) for every learner.
IEP are designed to meet learners’ specific needs, and these personalized plans form the basis of a four-way partnership between the School, Learner Family and Community.
The school curriculum is tailored to individual needs and supported by the Individualized Educational programme aimed at Personal, social and economic independence. We recognize that individual children learn and develop in different paces, so it is important to create a learning environment that responds to the specific needs of every child including those with disabilities and those without.

We have a Multidisciplinary Team of Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) Occupational Therapist (OT) and use a myriad of different professional approaches to meet the needs of learners. Some of the approaches used at EIA include Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS) and behavior management strategies designed to meet individual learner’s needs. Our Therapy Clinic offers therapeutic support to all learners Sensory Integration Therapy is an integral part of our intervention program me. Our speech and Language Therapy Team carry out a thorough assessment of every learner. Ongoing support is provided directly through individual or group sessions.
